Continual Professional Development
Clicks is committed to providing Pharmacy staff with the most current
information and proactive training programmed, equipping them with the
ability to assist patients with appropriate tools and advice to take
control of their health.
Our priority is to keep Pharmacy staff abreast of new developments in
chronic diseases such as Diabetes Hypertension, Cholesterol and
Asthma.
The Clicks Continuing Professional Development Programme enables
Pharmacy staff to deliver quality pharmaceutical care while performing
their responsibilities in a professional but caring manner.
By offering free continuing professional development, we also address
and meet the licensure requirements of the South African Pharmacy
Council.
We are excited about the registration of a Postgraduate qualification
in Pharmaceutical Care with the North West University.
Outcomes based education and training
We support the principle of lifelong learning and pride ourselves on
having an in-house academy responsible for developing and coordinating
Continuing Professional Development programmes for Clicks employees as
well as external resources.
The focus of CPD learning and development is on
- acquiring new knowledge and skills,
- the implementation and measurement of the learning outcomes in the
workplace.
Upon completion of a course, learners are required to provide evidence
of in-store implementation of learning.
Evaluating the effectiveness of the learning also in the workplace
forms a crucial part in determining further learning needs.
