Nursing Practitioner

Nursing Practitioners at Clicks are part of the dispensary operations teams and are responsible for promoting and delivering professional primary healthcare services – ensuring, at all times, quality patient care in compliance with Nursing Council regulations and company standards.

The range of clinic services include blood pressure testing, cholesterol and glucose screening, vaccinations, immunisations for babies, injections and wound care and advice on health-related matters.

An exciting part of taking up this position is that the Nursing Practitioner is in a position to grow and shape the clinic service at the particular Pharmacy – offering him/her a touch of entrepreneurial freedom – whilst having the benefit of a corporate infrastructure, including a clinic services system and management support.

The Nursing Practitioner in the Clicks environment has a dual reporting line, i.e. the Responsible Pharmacists in terms of daily operational matters, and the national and regional Clinic Services Managers insofar as the clinician and professional aspects are concerned.
